As a part of the application process at Living Water Christian School, we would like you to submit an essay of approximately one typewritten page answering the following question:

Why do you wish to become involved in Christian education, and more specifically, why would you like to become a part of the Christian education team at LWCS?

STATEMENT OF FAITH

I believe the Bible to be the inspired and the only infallible authoritative Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16-17; I Thessalonians 2:13)

I believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (I John 5:7)

I believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (Acts 2:36; Matthew 1:23; Hebrews 4:15; Matthew 11:4-5; Hebrews 9:13-26; Acts 2:31; Hebrews 10:12; I Thessalonians 4:15-17)

I believe that man is sinful by nature and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for his salvation. (Romans 3:23; John 3:3-6)

I believe in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (I Thessalonians 5:23; II Corinthians 3:18)

I believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they who are saved unto eternal life and they who are lost unto eternal damnation. (I Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelations 19:20)

I believe in the spiritual unity of the believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and in the local New Testament church. (I Corinthians 12:13; Revelations 2,3)

I believe in the creation of man by a direct act of God. (Genesis 1:27)
